How to determine which size ribbon i need

Tips to make it easier to purchase our ribbon

• Find out the total ribbon length you need (example is 10 yards)
• Convert your length to inches (example is 10 yards equals 360 inches)
• Figure out at what length we sell the ribbon of the specific width that you want (example our 1 inch wide ribbon is sold in a 6" piece/strip in length)
• Divide the ribbon print length size by the total amount of inches needed.
• Enter the resulting number into the quantity field.

What quantity do you need?

We have come up with some examples on how to do some simple math to help you calculate what quantity you need.

Example 1, You need a 65 foot roll of 1" wide ribbon.
12 = 780"
780" / 6" print length size = 130 quantity.

Example 2, You need a 16 yard roll of 3/8" wide ribbon.
16 x 3 = 48' 
48' x 12 = 576"
576" / 4" print length size = 144 quantity.

Example 3, You need a 4" wide sash of 6 feet in length.
6' x 12 = 72"
72" / 36" print length size = 2 quantity.
